Chairmen of the Board (film)
Chairmen of the Board is a 2006 Canadian skateboarding film written and directed by Clement Lush for Alcatraz Skateshop, which is based in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, a city located near Toronto. It stars Jay Revelle, Rob Piontek, Clement Lush, Jordan Bandula, Glencoe Hogle, Shawn Arpin, Chase Furman, and Brandon Bandula1. It was released in December 2006 in Oshawa, and was shot in various locations around the globe in locales such as Japan, Argentina, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and Barcelona.
The intro to the film was shot on SUPER 16mm and the remainder of the film was shot on digital video. An elaborate theme was incorporated into the film using The Title as inspiration. The cover of the DVD depicted the stars in a cubicle, each themed in a certain way, such as a hurricane, underwater, lavishly rich, and so forth. The theme was the idea of Clement Lush.
Trivia
- Almost all of Jay Revelle's part was filmed in Japan.
- The premier was initially to be held at an AMC theatre, but it proved to be too complicated working with AMC officials. The premiere was held at a roller rink instead.
