CFC-Singles for Christ

CFC-Singles for Christ (CFC-SFC) is a Catholic evangelistic ministry for single men and women. CFC-SFC is a Family Ministry of the Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation. Established in 1993 with the CFC Family Ministries, CFC-SFC is now in over 160 countries.

History

CFC-Singles or Christ was established in 1993 as a ministry to single, young professionals of the Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc., headquartered in Manila (Philippines) with missions in many other countries. The parent organization was established in 1981 and claims 1 million members as of 2005. The organization is a lay organization affiliated with the Catholic church.

Organization

Members are organized into household cells (a group of 5 to 7 members) led by a household head. Unit heads lead household heads, chapter heads lead unit heads, and cluster heads lead chapter heads. Overall direction is provided by a national council.

Activities

SFC held its 14th International Leader's Conference in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, Philippines last February 16-18, 2007.
