Ceredo-Kenova Crash
The Ceredo-Kenova Crash are a minor league American football team based in Kenova, West Virginia and currently play in the United States Football Alliance USFA. The crash were a charter member of the Ohio Valley Football League in 2000, but moved to the USFA in 2007.
The Crash were originally based in St. Marys, West Virginia, where the team played for its first six seasons while posting a 5-46 record. In 2005, the franchise relocated to at A.D. Lewis Field in Huntington, West Virginia for two seasons, but moved to Ward-Craycraft Stadium in Kenova before the 2007 season. In 2007, the West Virginia Crash won the USFA Eastern Football Conference South Division title before losing to the undefeated Lima Warriors in the conference semi-finals to finish 6-5.
In November 2008, the franchise renamed itself the Ceredo-Kenova Crash, assuming the city-name of the local community.
