Cedar Creek Country Club is owned and managed by Wilson Golf Group of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and features banquet halls, a pro shop, and a bar and grill.

History

Cedar Creek Country Club was designed and built beginning in 1989 in a former cornfield in Sand Lake Coulee, alongside a stream called Cedar Creek. A bar near the site, Silver Spur Inn, was demolished at this time. The original owners were John Hansen and Don Zietlow, both co-owners at the time of Kwik Trip, and Bob Thorud, a local investor. 1

In 1994, an addition was built on the clubhouse's south side, adding a new pro shop. The previous pro shop was converted into Pepper's Bar; thus, the club's food service operation was expanded to include Arizona's Restaurant and The New bar. The course went private in 1995.2 In 2001, Wilson Golf Group of Minneapolis, MN, purchased the establishment, closing the restaurant but keeping the bar, formerly Pepper's, open.
