Cavvy R. Records

Cavvy R. Records is an American based independent hip-hop label founded in 1990 by underground recording artist Da'unda'dogg. The label was originally named Cavvy Rock Productions, but changed to Cavvy Roc Records in 1996 and is now simply known as Cavvy R. Records. The label has been distributed by indie distibutors such as City Hall Records, Bayside Distribution and Koch Entertainment.

Early Releases

Cavvy R. Records first release was in December of 1990, which was a 12-inch single entitled "Jackin" by Coolio, who now is known as Da'unda'dogg. Popular websites such as Amazon.com and Rapbay.com has been stated as selling The Title for as much as $100.00 per copy. Most of Cavvy R. Records success came in 1996 after signing a distribution deal with Bay area based distributor, City Hall Records located in San Rafael, California. Artist that have released albums on the label include Da'unda'dogg, Dubee, P-reek, Sleep Dank and two collaborations by Mac Dre & Da'unda'dogg.
