Cause + Affect

Cause + Affect is an ethical fashion company, based in Reading, UK. Founded in 2008, the company produces eco-friendly and organic T-shirts and hoodies, and aims to support ethical trading practices and fair trade. Cause + Affect T-shirts are made from organic cotton, grown at the Vasudha Cotton Project in India.

Products

Cause + Affect produces a range of t-shirts in many different styles and colours, all of which are produced using organic cotton in certified Fairtrade factories. The inks used in the designs are also organic. They also have a range of hoodies and polo shirts, produced with in-conversion organic cotton. These are manufactured in fairtrade-certified factories.

Ethics

Cause + Affect aims to support eco-friendly and fairtrade business practices. They donate 10% of all their profit to ethical charities, and have recently shown support for Kick 4 Life, with members of the company travelling to Lesotho to volunteer. The company also shows support for in-conversion organic farms, which have yet to be certified organic, but are farming without pesticides or soil additives. During this period, crop yields are lower, and there is a higher risk of crop disease or pest causing issues. Cause + Affect show support to these farmers in this period.
