Catalyst Foundation

Catalyst Foundation - non-profit organization supporting orphaned, abandoned and homeless children in Vietnam through scholarship programs and direct relief efforts. It also works with children adopted from Vietnam.

In 2006 - 2007, the foundation was supported by Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) of The Union of Northern American Vietnamese Student Associations (uNAVSA).

One of the Catalyst Foundation founders, Scott Parker intended to ride his bike over 2000 miles from Oregon to Minnesota in August-September, 2007, to raise AbOUT $40,000 for building a school and safe shelter for the girls living in the garbage dump of Kien Giang.

Projects

  • Fight against Vietnamese children sale and trafficking to Cambodia and China for forced prostitution and labour.
  • Helping needy children in poor regions of Dong Thap and Kien Giang Provinces (South Vietnam).
