Casey Shea

Casey Shea is an American Singer/Songwriter from New York.

Biography

He was born on November 27, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the age of five, his family relocated to Ponte Vedra, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in songwriting and recording. In January 2004 he moved to New York to continue pursuing his music, quickly finding a home in the open mic scene. In 2007, he signed with the indie label Family Records. A major MusicAL influence is The Beatles.

He has been described by The New York Times as "hushed and hopeful."
