Cartilagebaroque

Cartilagebaroque is an art period from the middel of the 17 -century in Norway.It is called Cartilagebaroque because the woodcarvings has a resemblance to the curves, or cartilage in the human ear.
Andrew Lawrenceson Smith is seen as one of the most famous representativs for the cartilagebaroque, specially for his works in the Stavanger Cathedral.

It is known as Bruskbarokk in norwegian.
