Carlos Díaz (actor)

Carlos Díaz (born July 21, 1970) is an Chilean-born Canadian film and television actor who appears in Rent-a-Goalie playing "Looch" and The Dead Zone (Season 3, Episode 3) playing "Rick Fanuli" and will appear in The Line (formerly 'The Weight') when it airs in 2009 on The Movie Network, playing "Mike".

Biography

Díaz was born in Santiago, Chile to Chilean parents. Diaz lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and travels to Vancouver, British Columbia for work at times throughout the year. He speaks English and Spanish language fluently and has a working knowledge of French. He has worked in television series, commercials, film, theatre, radio and voice over animation.

There are many other Carlos Diaz's (he himself is Carlos Patricio Diaz (1 of 3 in his family) and in 2004 he was actually interviewed by Carlos Diaz (no relation), the Host of Celebrity Justice (now with Extra TV) for a segment on actors with the same name.

Diaz and the cast of Rent-a-Goalie were nominated for a Gemini Award in 2007 for Season 1 and again in 2008 for 'Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Program or Series'.
