'''Carl Alphonce''' is [[Computer Science]] faculty member in the Computer Science & Engineering department at the [[University at Buffalo]], SUNY, in [[Amherst, NY]]. He teaches a variety of courses, including introduction to computer science, data structures, programming languages, computational linguistics, and software engineering. He began the development of Green, a [[UML]] diagram plug-in for [[Eclipse (software)|Eclipse]], with financial support through an [[IBM]] Eclipse Innovation Grant. Green is an on-going project whose primary software developers are undergraduate students in the Computer Science & Engineering department.
