Careers360
Careers360 is an Indian higher education and career counselling business of Pathfinder Publishing Pvt. Ltd, founded in 2009 by Maheshwer Peri. It has presence across print and digital mediums, in the form of monthly English and Hindi magazines, yearly almanacs, a website and a mobile application.
History
- 2009: Launch of the English monthly magazine by APJ Abdul Kalam
- 2010: Launch of the Hindi monthly magazine by Dr Manmohan Singh
- 2011: Launched yearly print almanacs
- 2012: Forayed in the digital landscape with the launch of the website, www.careers360.com
- 2015: Released the Careers360 mobile app
- 2015: Acquired entrancecorner.com
- 2017: In July, released the 100th EDition of the English magazine by NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant
Funding
In 2014, Careers360 raised an undisclosed angel funding round from a group of five angel investors led by Edupreneur and Private equity investor Ranjan Pai who heads the Manipal Education and Medical Group, Satya Narayanan, founder of the Career Launcher group and Digital Media expert and Venture capitalist Mahesh Murthy of Pinstorm. Two other financial investors had also invested in the funding round but their names remain undisclosed.
It further raised an undisclosed amount of investment from MeritTrac, a wholly owned subsidiary of Manipal Global Education Services, in 2016.
