Canada Well-Being Measurement Bill
The Canada Well-Being Measures Bill was proposed by Member of Parliament Marlene Jennings in 2001. Had it passed, it would develop and provide for the publication of measures to inform Canadians about the health and well-being of people, communities, and ecosystems in Canada. The bill (C-268) received first reading on February 14, 2001, but never became law.
