Annual Theme
Every year Camp Moshava has a different theme. This theme consists of different aspects including for example an annual song, theme name, and activities. For example for the summer of 2010 the theme was "Moshevet Tiferet Yisrael", the annual song was "Mi Shemaamin", and a series of skits were performed as a parody bases on The Wizard of Oz, or The Wizard of Ozreal(Israel). Additionaly a Mishna competetion took place based on the common "Chiddon" moodel such as the annual Internation Chidon Hatanach.
The Water Front
The camp is located on a small body of water namely, Huff Pond. The lake owned by the camp, is the home (during the summer months) to a variety of "lake toys". These toys include: a trampoline which has attached a wrestling mat as well as a mini slide, a small and large inflatable iceberg, which act as a climbing wall and slide, several floating mats, a water see-saw and a banana boat; these toys are collectively referred to as "Lake Toys and Mount Gershon" named for Gershon Rossman who took the position of head lifegaurd for the men in the summer of 2011 alongside Barbara Stern who is the head lifegaurd for the women. The lake and the pool alike are only open for separate swimming for men and women.
