Camila Medici
Camila Medici (born November 12, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Her family history includes not only a lineage of the Medici family, but also the brutal Brazilian dictator Emilio Garrastazu Medici[1]. She currently lives in the United States where, according to various sources, she attends law school and models occasionally [2] 1.
Appearances
Readers of the popular newspaper "New York Post" report having seen Medici featured in the 2003 article "Blond Ambition" featuring three Anna Kournikova look-alikes at the 2003 US Open. The socialite gave the pseudoname "Courtney Medrici" in a clear attempt to detach the family name from the subject of the article3. In the picture, Medici wears a 3/4 sleeve midriff - bearing top while giving a provocative look to the camera.
That however was not her first time being featured in a media source. She was accustomed to having her picture taken by the Brazilian equivalent of "Hello Magazine" (called Revista Caras)4 while doing everyday activities and attending social events. One particular photo, which granted the magazine's center fold in the city of Belo Horizone, was taken in the year 2000 while she attended the luxurious wedding of Brazil's Minister of Planning's son. Different from the picture in The New York Post article, this picture shows the sociaite's NATURAL brown hair.
Medici was also featured in an ESPN special college basketball EDition while a student at the University of Maryland in College Park. In the picture she celebrates the University's Basketball team's national championship win with her friends, raising her index finger to indicate the team's "number 1" status in the world of college basketball 5
Recent media appearances have not been reported, although her name has come up within the UK media world as the speculatory reason behind Will and Kate's split earlier this year. 6
