Cambridge International Digital Forum (CIDFo)
'''Cambridge International Digital Forum (CIDFo)
The Cambridge International Digital Forum (CIDFo) is primarily an international, annual event for converging digital media content. CIDFo is based in Cambridge, England.
The CIDFo triad represents Creativity, Technology and Investment..
Created by John Marshall in 2008, CIDFo's mission is to develop events and activities where the results are real business and inspired digital media creation, not theoretical discussion. Based on the idea that, "content is the creative use of technology", CIDFo introduces creative media producers to [...]-edge digital technologies and vice-versa. Over two days each year, CIDFo combines project pitching from all media genres, digital technology showcasing, global video conferences, finance and networking.
CIDFo has been held at the Cambridge Judge Business School and The Moller Centre, Cambridge. Participant numbers are usually limited to 100, plus those who engage through video conferences. The event is deliberately international, seeking the most stimulating digital media content creators and technologies, guided by leading names in their fields. By putting them together, new dimensions open for digital media and business development.
The main Dinner has been held in the intimate dining hall of Cambridge University's ancient Christ's College.
CIDFo connects:
- media content producers
- [...] edge digital technologies
- commissioners and investors
- new markets
CIDFo's aim is to stimulate digital media content, from television formats to games; mobile to sync music; animation to factual.
CIDFo focuses on the business of digital media content: its innovative creation; its financing; its future audiences and how to reach them.
