College career

Kurland appeared in 62 of 66 games for Florida in 2024 despite fracturing his hand in the third series of the season against Columbia. His injury resulted in a slight downturn in production, only slashing .245/.346/.457. He scored 3 crucial runs in an extra-innings 11โ10 win over Clemson at the Clemson Super Regional to send Florida to the 2024 College World Series. There, Florida eventually fell to Texas A&M in the semifinal.
