Bus route 319 Trainlink

The 319 Trainlink is a bus route operated by Preston Bus in Lancashire, England. The route runs between Skelmersdale and Kirkby.

Operations

The route was launched to link Skelmersdale with Kirkby to provide a link by train to Liverpool.

History

The service launched on the Sunday 22 January 2023 operated by Stagecoach using Enviro 300's.

On the 20 July 2024 the route got transferred to Preston Bus and got brand new Enviro 200mmc's.

Route

The route runs between Skelmersdale and Kirkby operating at a frequency of every 30 minutes on Monday to Saturday and Hourly on a Sunday. The route is operated on behalf Lancashire county council.

The route is currently run by Enviro 200mmc branded in the Trainlink livery the two buses painted into this livery are YY74 URW and YY74 URV.
