Bullhead (band)

Bullhead is a streetcore band formed in 2005 in Västerås, Sweden by Jonathan Lundmark and Stiffy Johansson.

History

Jonathan and Stiffy was out in July of 2005 with plans to go to a show, but found out that the show had been cancelled. They decided that their hometown needed a good band, since they were so few at the time. They then formed the band Blind kids with machineguns, which would not be longlived and they soon reformed and started Bullhead. Blind kids with machinegun was Stiffy on guitar, Jonathan on drums, two unknown singers and Benny on bass, who later played backup guitars in Bullhead. After getting in tocuh with a friend of a friend named Linkan they changed their line-up to Jonathan on guitars, Stiffy on bass and Linkan on drums. The band played their first gig as an opening act to GG Allin's backup band [...] Junkies. They then went on to record a demo and recruit Benny for the band. The demo Son of Sam was released in the winter of 2005 and was nothing more than a CD-R with the bands name and tracks on it. Then Emil got recruited to do vocals and the band changed their sound into a faster paced and more brutal music dubbed Streetcore (mixing hardcore and streetpunk).

In October 2006 they started recording their debut album "Straight from the heart" which was released in January 2007 on their own label Killed by Radio records. They had a releaseparty for their record in February which featured Unit Lost as an opening act. Sadly, with the recording of their album Benny quit the band because he was to Gothenburg.

Now, with a few members lost and a few members found they are in a minor hiatus
