Bulat Sultangareev Award

The Republican Premium named after Bulat Sultangareev is the annual creativity competition of the studying youth, hold by youth newspaper “Yeshlek” of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The purpose of this contest is to educate the youth in a patriotic spirit, inculcate on them the allegiance to motherland, promote all-round development of the individual and encourage creative young people, the best ones in studies and social life.

In 2014 the Republican Youth newspaper “Yeshlek” announced the annual creativity competition for the Premium by Bulat Sultangareev. At once that competition met a public response. More than hundred of pupils from schools and students of Specialized Secondary Educational Establishments take part in this contest every year. The Assessment Board for the works, presented to its judgment, is headed by Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Bashkir State University Timergali Kilmukhametov. The commission makes its conclusion and declares the winners before the 25th of May. On the Day of Farewell Bell journalists of the newspaper “Yeshlek” reward the winners with prizes and premiums. On the 19th festival of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation named “The whole of Russia – 2015” in Dagomys a journalists' action “The Republican Premium named after Bulat Sultangareev” is acknowledged as a laureate among the republican, district, territorial and regional newspapers of the country.

Bulat Sultangareev whose name is awarded for the Premium, was an etalon for advanced young people. The young talent, whose life ended off at 17, rose questions, which even adults were not able to detect, and he suggested the ways of their solution. He established himself as a many-sided personality, he took a great interest in history, geopolitics and jurisprudence. His name was known not only in Bashkortostan, but also in Russia, for he had no equals among the studying youth in creativity, sports and scientific competitions. In 2016 a volume book from the series “Gifted young people of Bashkir land” was published. The book recounts Bulat Sultangareev’s life and his creative work.
