Brown & Crouppen, P.C. is an American law firm located in St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, as well as satellite offices St. Charles, and O’Fallon, Missouri as well as in Fairview Heights, Illinois and Arnold, Washington. The law firm works primarily with personal injury cases. As of 2011, the firm employs a staff of approximately 100.

History

Brown & Crouppen was founded in 1979 by Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen, who attended college together at the University of Missouri for their undergraduate degrees. Mr. Brown recruited Mr. Crouppen for the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. The friends both completed law school and decided to try opening a practice in injury law.

Practice

Brown & Crouppen operates on a contingent fee basis. Some cases are referred to other attorneys who are more experienced in areas of law that are not part of Brown & Crouppen’s injury law practice. The firm offers other support, such as referring potential clients to small claims court if they may be able to get a better outcome.

The firm has a long history of active marketing, using electronic media like radio, television and the internet to reach potential clients with information about services offered.
