Broadway Homelessness and Support

Broadway Homelessness and Support is a homelessness charity that was formed in April 2002 from the merger of Riverpoint and Housing Services Agency. Its vision is that every person finds and keeps a home. Broadway works directly with approximately 3,000 homeless and vulnerably housed people every year, across 15 London boroughs. The charity provides practical help, advice and training to meet the all-round mental, physical and social needs of clients. Broadway’s services include street outreach, a drop in centre, hostels, supported housing, welfare rights and money advice, independent living skills training and employment advice.

CHAIN

Broadway manages CHAIN (Combined Homelessness and Information Network), a database which tracks the movements of all known rough sleepers in London. CHAIN is used by all agencies and local authorities who work with the homeless in London.

Research

Broadway conducts research into the homelessness sector, seeking to influence policy and practice by contributing to a greater understanding of homelessness and social exclusion.

Funding

Broadway is funded by a combination of corporate sponsors, statutory funding, grant making trusts, foundations and individuals.
