BridgeCity (album)

BridgeCity is the debut studio album from the American worship band of the same name, BridgeCity (formerly known simply as the Generation Unleashed band). The album was digitally released on January 29, 2013 under Maranatha! Music. The album was then later physically released in CD format on August 27, 2013.

The band released a promotional/informational video on January 8, 2013, which spoke on the album's creation, via YouTube. The video was shown at the 2013 Generation Unleashed youth conference in Portland, Oregon.

Notes

  • The band is based out of City Bible Church in Portland, Oregon and has been around since 1993 in the form of the worship band for the annual youth conference: Generation Unleashed. The group has previously released multiple live albums under the Generation Unleashed namesake.
  • The album was heavily publicized through City Bible Church's annual Generation Unleashed youth conference in January-February, 2013. The conference was entitled Beyond Wonder. Much of the album was debuted live at the event.
  • Though the album debuted digitally on January 22, 2013, and was physically released at the 2013 Generation Unleashed conference, it was not until August 27 of the same year that it was released worldwide in physical format.
  • The song "Our God Reigns" was originally on the Generation Unleashed 2010 live album Saving Power, which was recorded at the 2010 annual conference of the same name.
