Bravo Band

Bravo Band (in Macedonian Cyrillic: Браво Бенд) is a Macedonian popular music group. The band is consisted of 6 members - Riste Tevdoski, Aleksandar Tasevski, Zivko Dinev, Dragan Iliev, Dejan Mladenovski, Zoran Kirijakovski. They had their promotion in the popular show made by the Macedonian hostes Lila Stojanovska.

Biography

The story of Bravo Band started in 2006 when the band members started performing in different night clubs in Macedonia. Their first bigger media appearance is noticed in Lila Stojanovska's show. Their first festival experience was at the famous festival Ohrid Fest, 2006 with their first song "Lesno ti e tebe" ("It is easy for you"). Afterwards, their second great hit followed, named "Neka patam" ("Let me suffer"). After they had met with Jovan Jovanov and Elvir Mekic, they made their new song "Ne bih te ja menjao" ("I wouldn't change you") and they took part in the renowned festival Suncane skale, where they won the third award from the jury. After that they made their first music video for the song "Ne bih te ja menjao" made by the Macedonian "Tomato production". Meanwhile together with the famous director Dejan Milicevic they made the video for their song "Neka patam" that became one of the most popular videos in Macedonia and outside the borders In October, 2008 they released their first album, INTRO.

2009-present

They participated in the Macedonian Eurovision Song Contest 2009 (or Skopje Fest) with the song "Devojko" (Girl) and finished on the 10th place.

Rewards

They have received numerous rewards as well as recognitions for their work. They won the third winning award from the televoting on "Ohrid fest" 2006, one of their songs was the hit of the year on Radio Ros 2006, they won the third winning award from the jury of Suncane skale festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro and took the award "Bronzena sirena". In TV ORBIS' manifestation from Bitola they took the award "Zvezdena orbita na popularnosta" and together with fifteen other media houses from Macedonia they were chosen for one of the most famous persons of the year 2007. Again in 2008 they won twelve points from the televoting in "Ohrid fest". Their video for the song "Neka patam" (Let me suffer) was chosen for the video of the year 2008 on Zlatna Bubamara na Popularnosta (or Golden ladybug of popularity - a famous Macedonian manifastation).

INTRO

In October, 2008 they released their first album INTRO, an album which is composed from many different styles. They named their album INTRO mainly for two different reasons. The first one is the word intro which comes from the English word "introduction". It is just a metaphor for what they present in it, an introduction of their emotions which are in one way or another expressed in every song.
