Bramhaarjun is a 2025 Bengali-language action thriller film directed by Souvik Dey and produced by Meena Sethi Mondal. The lead roles are played by Rohan Bhattacharjee, Anindya Sengupta and Priyanka Bhattacharjee. The film is scheduled for release on 23 May 2025.
Plot
Brahma and Arjun, whose parents died when they were very young, are taken in by Naresh Pal, a cannabis trafficker operating in Jharkhand. The area is divided between two smuggling networks: Pal’s "Galudi" faction and Alam Sheikh’s "Sheikhmuluk" faction. As they grow up within Pal’s organization, Brahma becomes involved in its activities and forms a romantic attachment to Mehzabin—presented in promotional materials as a member of Sheikh’s extended network—while Arjun reconnects with an old friend from his childhood. Rivalry between the Galudi and Sheikhmuluk groups intensifies, leading to shifting loyalties and open conflict.

Production
Filming took place in various locations across Ghatshila, Jharkhand. Principal photography aimed to depict local landscapes and the dynamics of trafficking networks. Lead actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee underwent rigorous physical training and martial arts preparation for his action sequences.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack of the film has been composed as well as penned by Soumyadip Chakraborty. One song has been adapted from the Rabindra Sangeet "Hey Shokha" by Rabindranath Tagore. Notable playback singers including Anupam Roy and Javed Ali contributed to the soundtrack.
The first song "Aami Jaani" was released on 25 April 2025. The second single "Jiya Lage Naa" was released on 6 May 2025. The third song "Brahma Re", which served as the title track of the film was dropped on 20 May 2025. The fourth single "Bharata Bhagya Bidhata" was adapted from the Rabindra Sangeet "Hey Shokha" by Rabindranath Tagore. It was released on 25 May 2025.
Marketing
A first-look poster was released on 22 March 2025. A teaser followed on 23 April 2025. The official trailer premiered on 10 May 2025 on the film’s YouTube channel. A launch event was held in Kolkata on 9 May 2025. The trailer received over two million views within one week of release.
Release
The film was released in theaters nationwide on 23 May 2025. A grand premiere event was held on 1 June 2025 at a multiplex in Kolkata, attended by the cast, crew, and prominent figures from the Bengali film industry.
Reception
Upon its release, Bramhaarjun received mixed reviews from critics. Subhodeep Bandyopadhyay of The Wall rated the film 7/10 stars and praised the film's action sequences and the performances of the lead actors, particularly highlighting Rohan Bhattacharjee's portrayal of Brahma. However, the review noted that the storyline was somewhat predictable and lacked depth in character development.
