Bouhamad

Bouhamad (Arabic: آل بوحمد) is a kin originating from Al-Hasa; the eastern province in today's Saudi Arabia. Members of the family live in almost every Gulf State; (i.e.,Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Oman), but mainly in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Some Bouhamads can also be found elsewhere in the Middle East such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and as far as Morocco but are most likely not immediately related to those living in the Gulf States.

Traditionally, The Bouhamads were known for working as Bisht tailors and house builders in the older-day Kuwait since the early 1900s.

Variations in spelling the name include Buhamad and Bohamad.
