Bonds Career Center

J. Harley Bonds Career Center is a career-oriented school in Greer, South Carolina. Led by Wayne Rhodes (formerly Riverside High School principal), Phillip Beckwith, and Andy Laye

It is a selective school that accepts students ranging from grades 9-12. Set in the old Greer High School building, Bonds Career Center is a part of Greenville County School District. At Bonds, students have the opportunity to pursue a technical career interest while earning high school credit and dual credit (college credit). Some programs are one year and some are two years with each culminating in students earning licenses, national certification, or college credit. The courses are designed for students who are planning on pursuing a two-year associate degree, a four-year degree, or a career after graduation.

As of 2008, it supports 296 students from five different schools:

  • Riverside High School (South Carolina)
  • Eastside High School (Taylors, South Carolina)
  • Wade Hampton High School (Greenville, South Carolina)
  • Blue Ridge High School (Greer, South Carolina)
