Bobo Norco
Sean McBride (born June 9, 1984), known by his stage name Bobo Norco (sometimes listed as Bobo) is an American rapper and record label owner.
Early life
Bobo Norco is originally from Santa Rosa, California. He is an only child and his parents divorced when he was two years old. After being expelled from Santa Rosa High School (Santa Rosa, California), Norco graduated from Ridgway High (Continuation) School in Santa Rosa. In his neighborhood, he was known as "Bobo", and his Northern California heritage eventually completed his showbiz/stage name, "Bobo Norco".
Music career
Early career and “Roll Call (49ers Anthem)”
Beginning his career as an independent artist, Bobo Norco started selling his CDs out of his car to get his music heard. In January 2013 Norco released a single titled “Roll Call” (49ers Anthem) which is a tribute to the San Francisco 49ers. The song featured Really Real and was featured in several media sources including Rap Radar, The Press Democrat, KEGY, and AllHipHop.
“The XO Album”
On February 15, 2014 Bobo Norco released The XO Album through his own independent record label N.L.N.F. Entertainment. The album later debuted on Pandora Radio. After the release of his "Break Your Heart Video", top40-charts.com stated "His powerful lyrics and electrifying showmanship have positioned BoBo Norco as the hottest new artist out of California."
“You”
In June 2014, Norco's single "You" featuring Missippi was put into rotation throughout America on Top 40 radio. "You" was reportedly climbing the charts and was referred to as an undeniable hit that reaches the masses by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes.
