Bobby Thompson (soccer)

Bobby Thompson (born May 7, 1981 in Framingham, Massachusetts) is an American soccer midfielder, who was last with The New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.

Bobby played college soccer at Boston College from 1999 to 2002, 14 goals and 20 assists over 72 games.

Thompson went undrafted upon leaving college, and was not signed by a professional team until 2004, when the Revolution signed him as a developmental player. Thompson did not, however, see any playing time with the Revs in 2004.

Bobby is currently pursuing a career in music. He is an extremely talented singer and songwriter, with a similar sound to Howie Day and John Mayer. He is recording a solo project including some collaborations with other local artists, such as ANTI-GRAVITY PRODUCTIONS.
