Career: Sports announcer for a variety of sports and teams. Most notably the football radio voice of the Boston Patriots and Boston College Eagles, 1966-1970; St. Louis Football Cardinals, 1972-1979, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Club, 1976-1979, University of Missouri Football and Basketball 1972-1979; California Angels, 1980-1989, 1993-1997; Los Angeles Rams, 1980-1993; Boston Red Sox 1990-1992. He also did TV sports at WMBD in Peoria, IL from 1963-1966; WBZ in Boston from 1966-1971; KTVU in Oakland, CA Through his early career he was the voice of the annual "Sweet 16" Basketball tournament in the State of Illinois. In February 2000, he was inducted into the Southern California Sportscasters Hall of Fame. Through the 1970's, he was an on air sports and radio personality at KMOX radio in St. Louis where other notables included: Jack Buck, Dan Kelly, Jack Carney, Bob Hardy, Bob Costas, Dan Dierdorf, Bill Wilkerson, Jim White and Rex Davis.
