Bob House
Bob House is a high school history teacher from Georgia, United States who was the fourth person to capture the $1 million dollar prize on the American version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Although the questions were not as easy as the questions were given in the earlier days of Millionaire, he seemed to be tailor made for the stack of questions that were issued to him, as many of them were on the subject of American History, which by coincidence happens to be what he teaches (along with world history and economics), at Pierce County High School, in Blackshear, Georgia.
The $1 million dollar question was on the subject of science, (Which of these famous scientists does not have an element named after them?) Bob used his 50/50 to take off the B and D choices, leaving A-Albert Einstein, and C-Isaac Newton, and since Bob still had his phone a friend lifeline available to him, he was able to contact the science teacher at the school he teaches for help. By identifying Isaac Newton as the scientist without a chemical element named after him ([Einsteinium] is element number 99), Bob House became a millionaire.
While he did use all of his lifelines, he only needed to use his "Ask The Audience". As said by him on the show and when he's asked in real-life, he doesn't have time to keep up with pop-culture. The question that he used it on was, in fact, a pop-culture question asking AbOUT the type of books Suze Orman writes. Bob usually shows the episode of him on Millionaire to his students on their first day in his class. He tells his students that when he first tried to cash his million dollar check, it ended up bouncing.
