Blue Angels Video Department

The Blue Angels Video Department was established in 1990. Prior to their existence, all filming of air shows were performed by the team's Quality Assurance Department. Currently The Video Squad consists of AE1 Curtis Kimbrough (Leader), AT2 Wayne Walters (1st Assistant), and AE1 Curtis Huff (Apprentice). AE1 Curtis Kimbrough is scheduled to lead The Video Squad through 3 months of grueling training in El Centro, California. This training will consist of advanced aerial cinematography so demanding it consistently sets the bar for the new industry standard.

Aside from cinematography, The Video Squad takes great pride in their unwaivering commitment to maintain the "communication cart". This cart is the communication link between the air show pilots and support team members.
