The Black Creek Village Library is the public library in Black Creek, Wisconsin, United States. It is a member of the Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS), which consists of 17 libraries. OWLS member libraries include: Appleton Public Library, Black Creek Village Library, Clintonville Public Library, (Fremont) Neuschafer Community Library, Hortonville Public Library, Iola Village Library, Kaukauna Public Library, (Kimberly) James J. Siebers Memorial Library, (Little Chute) Gerard H. Van Hoof Memorial Library, (Manawa) Sturm Memorial Library, Marion Public Library, New London Public Library, Scandinavia Public Library, (Seymour) Meuhl Public Library, Shiocton Public Library, Waupaca Area Public Library, and Weyauwega Public Library. This cooperating system allows members of the Black Creek Village Library access to hundreds of thousands of additional items.
The Black Creek Village Library's collection consists of over 24,000 items. These materials include: fiction, nonfiction, large print, teen, and juvenile books, as well as local newspapers, magazines, audiobooks, and videos. The items can be accessed by patrons through the OWLS library catalog "InfoSoup."
Apart from the library's collection, they also offer Internet use, computer assistance, storytimes for children, after-school activities for both children and adults, and a summer reading program. There are additional services the library provides to its patrons. For example, the Books on Wheels service provides library materials to people who are unable to come to the library themselves. There is also a copy machine, fax machine, and laminator available for patrons, and the staff are happy to assist in their use.
