Bisk Education
Bisk Education, Inc. is a United States corporation, founded in 1971 to provide distance test preparation for accountants. In the wake of the rise of the commercialized Internet in the 1990s, Bisk Education launched University Alliance (US), adding university degree and certificate programs to its offerings.
Bisk Education produces e-learning multimedia and web-based study programs and educational products from its national headquarters in Tampa, Florida. The company has developed a proprietary online Learning Management System (LMS) and e-learning technology which is the common element for all programs.
The LMS features streaming video lectures and an extensive array of synchronous and asynchronous communication tools. Bisk gives students the ability to obtain an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree, or take a single course or a master certificate program in a number of areas, including Six Sigma, Project Management and Education.
