Bill Coleman (singer)
Bill Coleman is a musician from Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland.
Biography
Bill Coleman began writing songs in his teens and first performed at family gatherings before becoming ACTIVE in the Dublin songer-songwriter scene when he moved there to go to college.
One of his earliest compositions appeared on the Mango Music "For Your Machine" compilation in 2001. Other artists featured included Josh Ritter, Goodtime John, Neosupervital & Martin Finke.
He released his debut EP "Long Time Coming" in 2003; and his first album "I'll Tear My Own Walls Down" appeared in 2007 to positive reviews. His music blends influences from folk, electronic and pop music.
Coleman has performed extensively throughout Ireland and the UK with artists such as Grant Lee Phillips, Mundy & Aslan. He is currently working on his second album.
