Bidemi Afolabi
Bidemi Afolabi (born 13 August 1995) is a professional footballer who plays for Oxford City as a striker.
Playing career
Bray Wanderers
Born in Lagos, Nigeria Afolabi began his career with Bray Wanderers after signing from Clongowes Wood College where he scored 64 goals in 31 appearances. He continued his goal scoring exploits for Bray's Under 19 side he ended the season by making six first team appearances and scoring four goals. During his time in Ireland his prolific goal scoring saw him linked with the likes of Manchester United, Celtic and Everton F.C..
Oxford City
In the summer of 2014 Bidemi made the move to England, and began pre-season for Corby Town. Showing early promise in the summer warm up fixtures, Bidemi particularly caught the eye as he scored two goals against a Nottingham Forest XI. Oxford City made an immediate move for Bidemi's services and it is there he now begins the 2014/2015 season.
