Bernard Malik

Bernard Malik (23/2/1969) is Founder and Director of Save Girl Child Organization, Save Girl Child is a global social endeavour to educate people AbOUT sanctity of life and eradication of social stigma attached to birth of a girl child, Executive member of Federation of Indian American Christian Organisations of North America (FIACONA). He has spent the better part of his life raising social issues and voices on behalf of the marginalised.

Early life and education

Bernard Malik was born in a Christian family in Phagwara, a city in Punjab, India on 23rd of February 1969. He Studied Bachelor of Education, went on for Higher studies and completed his Master of Science in the field of Counselling, later on in late 90’s he pursued for Master of Divinity and Master of Business Administration. He has done his education in India, United States and Australia.

Career

Bernard Malik, after finishing his education, established an institution and became founder and director of American College, Brisbane, Australia in the year 2009 providing vocational courses for both domestic and International students, later on in 2013 he founded International Open University, Meghalaya, India. In the year 2014 Bernard Malik became Chancellor of King’s International University, Tonga.

Engagements and Memberships

Bernard Malik was the President of International Council of Evangelical Churches from 1995 to 2009 in order to reinvigorate the true Biblical Christianity in the world. Malik then became Director of International Foundation for Minority Empowerment and Global Friendship,  providing minorities with tools and opportunities to improve their quality of life.
