He was part of several rock bands in the 1990's, including Dale Bozzio and the Missing Persons, and 100 Proof. Biography
Ben Sesar was born and grew up in Morristown, New Jersey. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1988, and went on to be a part of several underground rock bands in the mid-19990's. He toured with Dale Bozzio and the Missing Persons and also with a band called 100 Proof.
In 1999, Sesar joined the backup band for Brad Paisley, and since has recorded the drum tracks for all of Paisley's albums with the exception of the first, Who Needs Pictures. Incidentally, none of Paisley's current live band were a part of the recording for the debut album. Sesar co-wrote one of Paisley's songs, Throttleneck, with Paisley himself and his producer Frank Rogers. The song appears on Paisley's fifth studio album, 5th Gear, and it won a 2008 Grammy for Best Country Instrumental Performance.
