Beecon

Beecon was the student-run television station for the Savannah College of Art and Design, located in Savannah, Georgia. Beecon was founded in January of 2005 by graduate student Francis Abbey, who served as the first General Manager. The station operated on a web-only basis, the bulk of content being student films.

Purpose
Beecon was created to showcase student work. Students controlled the direction of the station, and worked with one another to produce original content
