BeatMySalary
Beatmysalary is a London based online recruitment portal that allows candidates to hunt for jobs anonymously.
History
The company was founded by Karthik Prasad and Swash Ram, both based in London. During the end of 2014, Karthik met Swash, who was born and brought up in London. Karthik was eager to come up with a product that could potentially revolutionize the recruitment space, and streamline the hiring process by empowering both candidates and recruiters. That was when he discussed the idea of starting BeatMySalary with Swash. This led to the launch of the company in India in May 2015. Since then, the company has grown and now has over 250 global blue-chip clients such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, IBM, Accenture and Infosys.
Market
The portal caters to India and UK markets. Hindu BusinessLine recently reported that Linkedin is in talks to acquire beatmysalary which wasn't confirmed by either company. Beatmysalary is the first platform in the world that lets a candidate tailor their profile through the creation of "custom profile cards" and stay on top of targeted job search and only showcase the skills relevant to a particular job. The website keeps the candidate's contact information confidential and private until there is a mutual interest by both the employer and the candidate while also eliminating CV.
