Bat Mastersons

The Bat Mastersons is an American rock band, formed in Dallas, Texas in 1989. Their most famous and longest-lasting line up was composed of songwriter/bassist Byron Lord, guitarist/singer Timothy Holiday, lead guitarist Rex Ewing and drummer David DiPietro.

The band first came in to prominence in the early 1990's in Dallas' Deep Ellum district after performing their first live show at the then infamous ecstacy/dance club, The Starck. In 2005, the Bat Mastersons re-formed with ex-Novachrome guitarist, Craig Reeves and headlined the Wildflower Festival with Bowling for Soup and Johnny Lang, as well as State Fair of Texas alongside Dallas' own Lisa Loeb.

The 4 songs the reconstituted band had already recorded were distributed to longtime fans via the band's website (http://www.batmastersons.com) and one of the songs, "Inmate" was featured on the indie compilation, "Eat Your Vegetables."
