Introduction
Dominic Nicholson a.k.a Bagzamilleon (born 10 November 1988) is a trap artist. He sings rap and trap songs, mainly in English. He was born in Rochester, New York, USA and has four siblings.
Dominic began his music career around 2001-02 when he was just thirteen. He wrote his first lyrics titled “Why Pops”, which revolved around his father, who was not there at the time when he needed the most. He started his career by playing in the cold streets of Rochester, New York, beating the odds of living on the streets and seeing drug wars, adapting to the music world in a different way. At 23, he made a mixtape called “Ethel Street” recapping the things that happened to him while he was living on the streets. He believes he could survive the streets only because of two things - his love for music and the almighty God.
Early Life
Dominic Nicholson was born on 10th November, 1988 in Rochester, New York, USA to Tisa Oliver and Rodney Nicholson and has four siblings. He started his education at Clara Barton #2 School and later joined Freddie Thomas High School but he was expelled when he was in 9th grade, never to return back.
In his early life, his father wasn’t there, leaving everything to his mother. He was just like any other kid but at the age of 12, he mistakenly committed a crime. He shot his old brother with a 38 calibre gun. He Shortly after long he run away from his home, never to return back.
For the next 10 years of his life, he spent every day on the streets with countless drug addicts, among other criminals. He was even shot once on his leg when he was only 20. During his time in the streets, he grew up watching big names such as Jay Z, Biggie Small, 2 Pac, etc., inspiring him to be one of them one day.
He also admires Napoleon Hills. By reading Hill’s books and listening to his speeches, Dominic learned a lot. His favorite book was ‘17 Law Of Success’, which helped him learn simple principles and practices that can change his whole life.
Growing Up In The Streets
As Dominic says, growing up in the streets was hard enough. During winters, he didn’t have a place to stay and slept wherever he could, at times, for a few hours. After he ran from his home, he was forced to choose the criminal life. He often found himself breaking into cars in the middle of the night just to meet his daily demands.
At 14, he moved into a drug house where he sold drugs just to survive around the streets. By the age of 17, he managed to establish himself as a major drug dealer in the area.
At 18, he tried moving back to his family but due to extreme addiction, he went back to the streets and sell drugs again till the age of 24.
Until the age of 24, he was arrested for petty crimes and did community services for the same but at 25, he was arrested for possessing guns and served sentences.
End Of Street Life
His life changed when he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina following his release from jail. After spending 6 months in North Carolina, he came in contact with Dash Dash, who introduce him into the music industry as a social media consultant while filming an artist on his Bluroc records.
Early Career
He was introduced to the music world by his friend, Big Bootsie, with hip hop music mogul Damon Dash, the former co-owner of Roc A Fella Records. They planned together and in 2016, Dame Dash gave him a shot on his mixtape “Honor Up” song called “ Money - My Lingo”
And “Loisaidas 2”. Dame Dash also placed him on another mixtape called “Culture Vulture”.
Five Star Empire and its CEO, Stunna, also helped him getting the spotlight by giving the opportunity to work with artists on the label.
Ever since his childhood, he enjoyed R&B every time he listened to Usher and Alicia Keys. He still does that and he says it brings back his memories of the early childhood days.
He also loves to sing some Old school and POP music but his all time favorite is still Rap and Hiphop because he believes it is what changed his life forever, opening him up more to music, helping to express his true feelings.
He never got to play any music instrument but he wish to play piano someday.

With time, he gained great popularity. He has over 90K followers on Facebook and over 30K on Instagram. His song “Luigi” hit 20K streams on its first week and has crossed 50K streams in its lifetime records on Spotify.
His professional name is Bagzamilleon (pronounced as Bagz-A-Million) but he claims it wasn’t always Bagzamilleon. Initially, It was D Money Bagz but he changed it to Bagzamilleon when he came up in the music world. He says the name is special to him because as he grew up into the industry, he always dreamed and told himself that one day he would sell a million records in a single day. His says his name stands for “making money, having a million bags in real life to use for a good cause.”
He always looked up to many sportsmen for motivation and inspiration. He even made tribute songs for Nipsey Hussle called Hussle For Nipsey and Kobe Bryant called Take A Shot For Kobe, believing that making music for someone who he looked up to would help his music reach the ears of people who genuinely look for good and inspiring music.
His Goals
His goal is to release multiple songs all year long and continue to do so until he plans to retire. He wants to reach the masses in every part of the world, motivate the youth and elders to get up and be something. He also plans to create new job opportunities within the music industry and teach the world how to mold their own music and make it go viral with the use of social media platforms. He also dreams to collaborate with big names like Lil Baby, Dababy, Megan The Stallion, etc.
His Advice To Every New Artist
His mantra is “stay calm, consistent and procrastinate less”. He always tell new artists to keep working hard, a release a few tapes every month, get published and on top of that, always ensure high network engagement.
He asks people not to be selfish in their life and go an extra mile for others.
