Started in 2009, Bagittoday.com offers its members, fashion-wear, accessories, jewellery, lifestyle products, shoes, mobiles and electronic items at discounted prices. In 2010, German media company Axel Springer acquired 19.1% In Bag It Today. In 2011, Vizisense ranked it as the 2nd most popular website in ecommerce category with 3.49 million users.

Overview

Products on the websites are offered inside boutiques which usually consists of similar category of items and usually have different price range. Membership of the website is completely free, following which members start receiving regular offers from the website. All sales on the website are open for a limited time and typically last for 48–72 hours. Products are usually offered at discounts of 20%-80% of the original price.
