Błażej Poźniak

Błażej Poźniak is a Polish veterinarian, habilitated doctor of veterinary sciences, professor at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, and a specialist in veterinary pharmacology.

Academic career

In 2008, he obtained the degree of veterinarian at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. In 2012, he was employed at the same university, where in the same year he received a PhD in veterinary sciences based on his dissertation entitled Porównanie właściwości farmakologicznych kwasu acetylosalicylowego i salicylanu sodu u kur i indyków, z uwzględnieniem działań niepożądanych (“Comparison of the pharmacological properties of acetylsalicylic acid and sodium salicylate in chickens and turkeys, including adverse effects”), supervised by Marcin Świtała.

In 2018, the same university awarded him the degree of habilitated doctor of veterinary sciences based on his thesis Ocena zmienności farmakokinetyki wybranych leków weterynaryjnych u kur i indyków w zależności od wieku, czasu podawania lub w endotoksemii (“Assessment of the variability of pharmacokinetics of selected veterinary drugs in chickens and turkeys depending on age, duration of administration, or in endotoxemia”).
