Baa Bar
Baa Bar is a chain of bars located in the North-West of England, United Kingdom.
Founded in 1991 by Tom Bloxham (founder of Urban Splash) and Jonathon Falkingham (co-founder of Urban Splash), Baa Bar Limited opened its first site in April 1991 in Liverpool. Originally housing Jones & Co. Ltd, a company specialising in ropes, the building was regenerated to house Baa Bar.
After initial success, the company opened its second site, Modo, situated in the Concert Square area of the city. Since then the company has opened a further five sites within the region, comprising a further two Baa Bars in Manchester, another in Wigan, Bumper (located in Liverpool), and The Ox, a hotel located in Manchester.
Baa Bar is renowned for its shooters, a variety of differing 25ml cocktails using various liquers, spirits and syrups. These are often layered to produce a finished product.
