Avake Technology Group Inc. was founded by husband-and-wife Ramna Sharma and Anuj Kanish in 2004. Avake itself is an online vertical search and business provider. While the company itself is based in California, US, its Innovation and Development Center is located in Noida, India. TolMol, its primary online website is a comparison-shopping provider. Tolmol was launched in India on May 9, 2007 and became the India's First Local comparison-shopping service. The company has 30 employees: 3 in California and the rest in India. Revenue reached $500,000 in fiscal 2007, from $300,000 in 2006. Company executives expect to top $1 million this year.
