AvA experience in The Elder Scrolls Online
At the first part of The Elder Scrolls Online, PvE are the main quests and they are easy to finish and get cheap eso gold if you are familiar with online games. But when it comes to the latter part, PvP as the main game play holds many players’ step forward. Compared with PvE, PvP is more flexible and uncontrollable, especially doing AvA.
As a Nightblade with bow, I entered Cyrodiil. It was really hard in such a crowded area to tell allies and foes apart. And to target the enemies seemed to be a challenge too—I couldn’t make sure if I hit or missed the enemy or not. Once my eyes adjusted, I was surprised at how crisp target selection was. I really can’t get used to this style at first. And it’s really slow to shoot with the bow. But there is a target system. As I used tab to highlight the one I wanted to target, tracked it in crowds and aimed at it, it turned much easier for me to shoot. And then I fired off light attacks by pressing the button and charged a heavy attack, the bow attack became faster though. Hold the button could make it too.
RvR is really fantastic for the sieges and it’s challenging for you may get killed by some unknown things. When we take part in the RvR, we are either defending a keep against a massive attack force or we are going to capture a keep. If PvP shines, we get the right to raid leaders. Once the leader is captured, your ally wins the battle.
RvR is not limited to sieges. There are RvR dungeons, 8-man fights, 12-man fights… all these are where a lot of fun come from. If only you get the essence of the game play, there is no doubt you are suppose to be an elite player.
