Atif Ali Khan (or AAK, ) (born December 17, 1984, Karachi) is a Pakistani Singer, Creative Artist, Multi-instrumentalist Musician, Lyricist and Advertising Specialist.Atif debuted in India with his solo music album “Sadaa” under the banner of Crescendo Music and Universal Music Group.

Early life

Atif was born in an intellectually renowned family with Indian descent. Father Yousuf Ali Khan was born in Lucknow (16 April 1935) in pre-partition India and mother Mehr Yousuf (8 August 1947) from Agra. His father also a film actor who starred in Mirza Ghalib(film) (1954).

Education

Atif did his O’ levels from Habib Public School through University of Cambridge board. Then he did his Intermediate from PAF Base Faisal college. After that he completed his B.Com from University of Karachi. He continued his education by doing MBA from Washington International University with concentration in Marketing. Finally, he completed his Doctor of Business Administration with dissertation on “The Role of Strategic Advertising in Image Marketing” from West Coast University Perth A.K.A West Coast Institute of Management & Technology (WCIMT), Western Australia.

Music

Atif started writing and composing at a very early age. He did many jingles, TV scores and was part of many local bands of Karachi. After disbanding his last band XTC. He went on to learn guitar and finalized his debt album Sadaa. He has featured multiple artists on the album such as guitarist Tahir Khan, keyboardist Zulfiqar Bhojani, keyboardist Rizwan Sharif, Shallum Xavier and Tanseer Daar. The album is co-produced, mixed and mastered by legendary sound engineer from Pakistan Iqbal Asif- who has mentored many big names from Pakistan music industry such as Ali Haider, Vital Signs, Junoon, Hadiqa Kiani and Shehzad Roy.

Atif Ali Khan to join hands with legendary Salim-Sulaiman duo soon.Following the release of Sadaa, Atif is preparing for various film collaborations and recording his next albumn “Paristan” in Bollywood.
