Association of craftsmen Rijeka

Association of craftsmen Rijeka is outside of party, independent, professional and business organizations of craftsmen, traders individuals and companies, which, in accordance with the Law on trades carried out activities of craftsmen. Association of craftsmen Rijeka promotes, matches, represented and represents the common interests of the crafts included the territorial Associations, which makes the area of Rijeka, Bakar and Kraljevica, as well municipalities Čavle and Kostrena.

Today Association of craftsman Rijeka has slightly less than 4000 members organized in the following sections: Section of the manufacturing - 430 members; Service section of trades and crafts for intellectual services - 1248 members; Section hairdresser, beautician and chiropody - 322 members; Section caterers and tourism workers - 411 members; Trade sections - 679 members ; Section of the carrier - 218 members ; Construction section - 550 members; Section for Fisheries, Aquaculture and farming - 63 members and Taxi section - 52 members.

When in Zagreb, 1967. established the Association of the independent tradespeople, the same year, 10 May established the Association of carrier of goods with motor and relay vehicles Rijeka.

Less than a month after the establishment of the Association of independent tradespeople Rijeka, 16 April 1968. was founded the Association of Independent caterers Rijeka. It is established under Basic Law on associations of citizens (SFRJ Official Gazette no. 16/65). The work of the Association of Rijeka craftsmen continues to 2004. year under the name of Chamber of Crafts Primorje-Gorski Kotar County - Association of craftsmen Rijeka. In its own building Association has finally moved 13 December 2005. year, at Vukovarska 21 in Rijeka.
