Asgard Safety International is a multi-state provider of private and government services specializing security services in infrastructure and commercial properties in North America.

History

In 2005, Asgard began work in the mental health services. They provided management, personnel, and services to government agencies. The focus was centered on "Street Gang" youth. From 2005 to 2008 the company name has changed as partners departed and new ones came on. Services expanded in property security and gang intervention. In the fall of 2008, the company relocated to Aurora, Colorado. In the spring of 2009, the ownership formally changed the company name to Asgard Safety International.

Quality of Operations

Asgard operates each contract in accordance with its company-wide policies and procedures. It also designs their contact Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) with the standards and guidelines required from the client.

Employees and Employee Training

Asgard employs management, administrative and clerical, security, educational services, general health services at various locations.

Under the laws applicable to most of Asgard operations, and internal company policies, Asgard's protection officers are required to complete a minimum amount of training. Asgard GeneRally require at least 40 hours of pre-service training before an employee is allowed to assume their duties plus an additional 80 hours of training during their first year of employment. In addition to the usual 800 hours of training in the first year, most states require 40 or 80 hours of on-the-job training, if the officer is a firefighter or medical first responder.

Asgard's Founder and CEO has developed this company to be employee and client friendly. They reduce the profit margin, by paying employees more salary and/or bonuses. This act allows the employees to care AbOUT their position, thus providing an improved service to it clients.
